Grass Hut Market helps neighbors discover sales and contact one another. Sellers are responsible for their listings, item descriptions, ownership, prices, and sale hours. Buyers and sellers arrange transactions directly; Grass Hut Market does not process payments or reserve items.

Your Information

We store account details, password hashes, listings, photos, saved items, and inquiries to operate the marketplace. Treasure Chest identities are private; sellers see aggregate counts. When you send an inquiry, the seller receives your name, email, profile phone number, and message. When a seller replies, their profile contact details become available to that buyer.

Sale Locations And Photos

A sale’s street address and precise map coordinates are publicly available only between its start and end times. Upcoming listings show neighborhood and ZIP code. Content you type into descriptions and photos you upload is visible when published; keep anything you do not want to share out of those fields. Uploaded photos are resized, and metadata such as camera location is removed.

We use the U.S. Census geocoder to match sale addresses and OpenStreetMap tiles to display maps. Opening directions takes you to Google Maps. These services receive the information needed for the requested function.

Accounts And Sessions

Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. Use your profile to update your account and your seller dashboard to edit or unpublish listings. Password changes invalidate other sessions. Recovery links expire and can be used once.

Community Standards
